The seven master programmes are taught in English. There are two joint degree programmes of the University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Graduates receive a diploma accredited by both universities. The master programmes are embedded in the Gradute School of Informatics (GSI) and is led by Paola Grosso.

I see the societal and scientific relevance of the studies we offer within our Graduate School every day. In our constantly evolving field it is important that we form our students to tackle the big societal problems of the 21st century, offering them a solid foundation. My vision for the GSI of/in the coming years is that we will, through all our programmes, maintain this important link between society and science and continue to form the successful future professionals and researchers in the field.
