On April 28, 2025, researchers from the Computational Science Lab (CSL), the Intelligent Data Engineering Lab (INDElab), and the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA) came together for a collaborative hackathon focused on building knowledge graphs for applications in microbiome research during the first 1000 days of life (MetaHealth). Held in LAB42 at the University of Amsterdam, the event brought together diverse expertise and initiated new directions for research at the intersection of computational science, data engineering, and microbiome studies.
