On 5 March Maurice Weiler of the UvA - IvI AMLab research group, supervised by Prof. Max Welling and Prof. Erik Verlinde was granted a doctorate cum laude for an outstanding manuscript (Equivariant and Coordinate Independent Convolutional Networks) and an excellent defence.
