This is the annual event for alumni, staff, students and donors of the UvA. The Informatics Institute will contribute to the programme that features lectures and debates on scientific and social issues by leading academics and alumni. Also the UvA thesis prize will be awarded to the writer of last year's best Master's thesis. Location is Roeterseiland Complex.

The main programme is in Dutch, but there will be a special English spoken programme. Several staff members of the Informatics Institute participate in the programme. Mike Lees and Rick Quax will speak in the English sessions, presenting two projects of IAS (Institute of Advanced Studies). Marcel Worring, Sennay Ghebreab and Sarah Ibrahimi will perform in the Dutch spoken programme in a talkshow setting discussing about Artificial Intelligence: opportunity or threat?
