Spin-offs & start-ups

Over the years researchers of the Informatics Institute have set up new companies often with students.

Examples are Scyfer, Euvision, 3DUniversum, Kepler Vision, AIIR, ELLOGON.AI, Sensity and Birds.ai. Sightcorp, Euvision and Scyfer have been taken over in themeantime.

In 2022 Sightcorp, specialist in the field of digital out-of-home artificial intelligence, has been acquired by the American company Raydiant.

Qualcomm acquired spin-off companyies Euvision in 2014 and Scyfer in 2017.
