Upon arrival at the Trippenhuis on October 30, the queen spoke with Leolani, a robot programmed by VU students, about international exchange of knowledge and cooperation.
Her Majesty Queen Máxima paid a visit to the Royal Academy of Sciences (KNAW) to discuss the implications for science of Brexit. The robot Leolani conversed with the Queen about the international exchange of knowledge and cooperation. The Queen also spoke with students and scientists about the impact of Brexit on university collaboration and the position of science within Europe. They also discussed about the uncertainties and the impact surrounding Brexit and the personal consequences of Brexit for scientists and students.
